Concept Mapping is a technique used to group a large amount of information together in an organized way to make it easier to view all at once and make connections. Concept maps are graphical representation tools used for organizing knowledge and concepts, they help link together ideas and organize a lot of information so that it is easier to understand and make connections. These maps and graphs can come in all shapes and designs but typically have the main idea at the top of the page or in the middle and are connected to smaller shapes by lines that have supporting information inside them.

This concept map is based on the Standard 5 for the Physical Education Standards in the state of Georgia. Standard 5 is all about making sure students are not just learning motor skills in a physical education setting but also learning how to properly coexist with others in a physical education setting. There are always going to be differences with students, we as educators have to use diagrams like this to remind us of the important things to focus on with our students and teach them proper ways to interact.
